Climate Change Risk
We acknowledge that climate change is a global challenge that has no
boundaries
We acknowledge that climate change is a global challenge that has no boundaries and that to combat it, the coordinated work of all countries is required.
Therefore, we work to reduce the effects of climate change, taking measures to contribute from the business to the communities, the environment, society, and the other stakeholders with the aim to be more resilient to climatic effects.
We manage our impacts related to climate change directly and indirectly:
Direct Impact:
We understand this impact as the direct damage that can be generated on our business and our operations on a daily basis, which can affect the continuity of our business.
In this way, we manage our carbon footprint, we measure our consumption of resources such as water and energy, and we design environmental programs for our employees.
Indirect Impact:
We understand this impact as the direct damage that can be generated on our business and our operations on a daily basis, which can indirectly affect the continuity of our business as a result of damage to our portfolio, reputational and legal damages, among others.
This is how we assess and manage the risks of the projects that we finance, and design lines of credit with environmental and social benefits, as well as environmental programs with our stakeholders.
